Welcome & Eligibility

Welcome to Animate Social ("Animate Social," "animate.social," "we," "us," or "our"). These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the Animate Social website, applications, and services (collectively, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and all associated policies, including the Privacy Policy, Community Guidelines, and Safety & Enforcement Policy.

Animate Social is strictly for users 18 years of age or older. Any account associated with a user under 18 will be permanently removed.

Nature of the Service & Safety Notice

Animate Social is a social discovery platform for friendship, community interaction, and permitted service transactions. Animate Social does not conduct background checks and does not guarantee user behavior.

User Content & License

Users retain ownership of their content. By using the Service, users grant Animate Social a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, and display content solely to operate, improve, and secure the Service.

Prohibited Conduct

Users may not harass, threaten, stalk, impersonate, scam, exploit, doxx others, circumvent safeguards, or engage in illegal activity.

Prohibited Monetization Categories

You may not use the Service's monetization features — including paid services, shop listings, ticketed events, subscriptions, tips, donations, or any other paid offering — to sell or profit from content in the following categories:

• Adult content and services: Content that contains nudity or explicit sexual acts, including subscriber-only nude images and adult audio/video live chat.
• Intellectual property or proprietary rights infringement: Offering content that infringes the intellectual property or proprietary rights of others.
• Copyright-infringing content: Content that violates copyright law, such as leaked music albums or pirated media.
• Violent extremism: Content that engages in, encourages, promotes, or celebrates unlawful violence or hate speech toward any group based on race, religion, disability, gender, sexual orientation, national origin, or any other immutable characteristic.

Violations may result in removal of the monetized content, forfeiture of associated earnings, and suspension or permanent ban of your account.

Child Safety & CSAM

Animate Social has zero tolerance for Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM). Any involvement in CSAM results in immediate account termination and reporting to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and law enforcement. There is no appeal for CSAM enforcement.

Termination & Enforcement

Animate Social may remove content, restrict features, suspend, or permanently ban accounts that violate policies or pose safety risks.

Reporting & Investigations

Users may report profiles, messages, or content that violate policies. Reports are confidential and prioritized.

Copyright & Intellectual Property

Users must upload only content they own or have permission to use. Animate Social complies with DMCA takedown requirements.

Account Deletion & Data Removal

You have the right to permanently delete your account and all associated personal data at any time. Account deletion is irreversible. You can delete your account in-app from the Profile page, or request deletion via the Contact Us page. Deletion requests are processed within 30 days.

Your Rights & Data Requests

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us via the Contact Us page or at contact@animate.social.
